Septic Tank Replacement
Septic Tank Replacement in Ocala
When a tank cracks, crumbles, or loses its baffles, no amount of pumping fixes it. Marshaqualey removes the failed unit and sets a new watertight tank, most often a 1,000 to 1,500 gallon size matched to your household. We work in concrete, polyethylene, and fiberglass, and we help you weigh which one fits your lot near Marion Oaks or Summerfield.
Why Tanks Fail
Older concrete tanks lose their inlet and outlet baffles to corrosion, which lets solids escape into the drainfield and shortens its life. Steel tanks rust through entirely. A tank that has gone more than five years without a pump out can build sludge deep enough to carry into the laterals. We inspect the tank, the D-box, and the field together, because replacing a tank while the drainfield is already clogged only solves half the problem.
Our Process
We locate and expose the old tank, pump it dry, and remove it. The new unit is set level on a stable base, then the inlet and outlet are plumbed with fresh baffles and an effluent filter, and risers with gasketed lids are brought near grade for easy future service. We tie the outlet back to the existing distribution box when it is sound, or reset it when it is not, and the county inspector signs off before backfill.
